What our guests say...
We think we're pretty good. But don't just take our word for it. Here's what just a few of our happy guests had to say about us.
"One of the best accommodations in Taupo! A beautiful modern place with a lovely feeling of yesteryear. The villa is set in a gorgeous garden surrounded by trees, yet still close to all attractions Taupo has to offer. Ian keeps it immaculately clean and his attention to detail makes you feel right at home. A wonderful place for a couple getaway. Make sure you book two nights as one won’t be enough!" |

"We both would like to congratulate you on providing a stunning, well appointed, private place to stay. The fit out was that of more luxurious places, but with the added personal touch. We would highly recommend anyone wanting to spend a day or two in Taupo seriously consider this as a place to call home." |

"We stayed two weeks and didn't want to leave! The Retreat is a wonderful place to unwind. Breakfast on the veranda each morning watching the birds was a real treat. The spa pool is so relaxing. On a clear night the stars are amazing! There is so much to do in Taupo as well, and with so many dining options in town, you are spoiled for choice." |

"OMG! This place is beautiful! It's so modern and spotlessly clean. The garden setting is so relaxing, and the spa pool adds a real touch of luxury. We really enjoyed making our own breakfasts with the provisions provided. Sitting on the veranda in the sunshine each morning set us up perfectly for the day ahead. The welcome bottle of wine is a really thoughtful touch, as we arrived in the evening and within no time had settled into the spa with a glass of bubbles and felt immediately that we were on holiday! |
